I’m always happy to feature Motley Fool episodes so I’m excited to put this in here. With the legalization of a $20 billion black market comes the inevitable conversion to a $20 billion authorized market; implicit in that is the opportunity for investment. Although stocks have leveled out for the year, the Cannabis sector at one point saw soaring prices and high returns and is a sector to keep an eye out on!

Legalization → Money → Economics + People = Socio-Economics. When there’s growth, we get green eyed and lose focus on the oppressed. Weed is another example of how an industry that demonized black and latinos now is making million without them. This issue talks race, war on drugs, and the two mutually exclusive markets that exist today, the dispensary and the streets.
