The Reboot Podcast
The Reboot Podcast
“I especially love the episode with Seth Godin who is a G” says Creative Director and [reads] founder Rachael Yaeger of Reboot, a podcast that digs deep with startup entrepreneurs and innovators about the challenges of building something from the ground up. We agree. As usual, Godin, a marketing mastermind with 19 books to his name, doesn’t disappoint.

Monsters Among Us
A Mothman In Chicago?
TV writer/director Carson Mell turned us onto this podcast that features firsthand accounts of paranormal encounters and host Derek Hays attempts to offer a logical explanation. The stories are engaging and, as Carson points out, “ The callers hail from all walks of life, making it feel like a space where everyone is welcome.” Start with “A Mothman In Chicago?” and binge from there.

Dear Joan and Jericha
Episode 4
Emily Fiffer, the co-founder of LA restaurant, Botanica, calls this podcast featuring UK comedians Julia Davis and Vicki Pepperdine as the oblivious, insensitive hosts of a radio advice show “cringe-worthy British humor at its best” and we whole-heartedly agree. All 8 episodes are bawdy comedic gold but we’re especially fond of the episode 4 for its creative sexual terminology best not repeated here.

You Must Remember This
Peggy Hopkins Joyce and Charlie Chaplin
We’re such fans of classic Hollywood historical podcast “You Must Remember This” that we tracked host Karina Longworth down for an interview. (She’s lovely by the way.) Last season, she set out to debunk the “fake news” stories perpetuated by famed gossipy tome, “Hollywood Babylon.” We like the episode on Ziegfeld girl and gold-digging pioneer Peggy Hopkins Joyce because she just sounds, well, fun.
